THIRTY TWO

Race Day!  Daddy left me in charge of making these cars and to say I was freaking out is not even close.  To weight the cars I glued quarters to the bottom whiiiiiich may not have been the best idea and I was totally panicked that they wouldn't even go down the ramp.  Thankfully… whew… they ran great!  They weren't the fastest cars out there, but we won a few heats and Liam even won second place for design.  Not gonna lie I am pretty proud of us ;)… PS Alana was super sad she didn't win anything so we had to have the "you win some, you lose some" chat on the way home… haha

THIRTY ONE

Totally been one of those busy days and its 5pm and Im still in my workout gear!  At least it was a good fun day :) Crossfit, Brunch with friends, SAMS, playdate with friends, and E made it home before me.  Off to shower!

THIRTY

 

Lunch with my little man.  I let him buy this motorcycle transformer at the dollar store and I could barely get him to eat his pizza because he was too busy telling me how transformers change.  Ohh yes complete with the dsh dsh dsh sound effects and hand movements.  It was hysterical!!

TWENTY NINE

So I am pretty sure that Liam is trying to kill me…. or at least break an ankle.  When I am not battling hidden legos in the carpet I find these mini army men set up right at the entrance to the kitchen :/ … OUCH!  

TWENTY EIGHT

Our awesome friends threw a Hoedown!! We had such a great time and the kids got to ride a pony for the first time.  Liam even won the dance contest with his fancy moves!! What a great night :)

Today Alana asked me if she could wash the dishes….. Uhhhhhhh OF COURSE you can!!! 

TWENTY SIX

What do you do when you find this cute boy standing in the kitchen in his teenage mutant ninja turtle pajamas attempting to make a "duck call" out of  golf tee??  Well.. you give him a "knife" to help.  Although I did draw the line when he asked to get daddy's drill because he needed to make a hole…Eeeeeek!

Gotta love a little bed head.  Not sure what this girl does in the middle of the night but she always wakes up with wild hair!  Also had to get a shot of her toes, they came out so cute!

Thought I would share a few photos my hubby sent me while he is away in San Diego at a course.  Yes… here he is enjoying kidless California… but I am not jealous.  Nope not at all :/

When Daddy is away I let these two little ones sleep in bed with me.  I have found the best was to accomplish this is to use a body pillow as a divider to keep the monsters from invading my side, although it did not keep Liam from punching me in the face last night :/ ….

TWENTY TWO

We spent the afternoon working on our AWANA Derby Cars!  We did our best without Daddy so fingers crossed for a winner … or maybe that they just make it down the track! HAHA 

TWENTY ONE

Love how much Liam loves his Pop.  They were best friends.  I find my Dad's picture in his bed, on the floor next to his legos, and today Liam wanted to watch a show with his Pop.  I hope he never forgets how much he loves his Pop and how much his Pop loved him!

Got my first call from the school nurse today!  She looks really sick right?!  Alana had a rash on her tummy, checks, and legs.  Even though we knew what it was she wasn't allowed back to school without a note.  One trip to the doctor later (he confirmed it wasn't anything to worry about) we decided to enjoy Alana's early "dismissal" by hitting up Menchies…. YUM!

NINETEEN

I guess my big girl wasn't satisfied with the clothes I selected for her.  Went in to check on her before I went to bed and found this note and her "new outfit".  HAHA love her!

EIGHTEEN

Happy Birthday!!!! Wait.. How old are you ;)?! Haha Yes I bought two 3's when my hubby was turning 34…Eeeek! I mean, when did we get old?  We just added an extra candle ;) 

SEVENTEEN

A rare crappy day in El Paso.  These days are so few and far between they make me want to curl up on the couch and read.  I think we are in for a major shock when we get back to NY this year!

SIXTEEN

Love it when my hubby makes it home in time for some snuggles before dinner :).

FIFTEEN

SPAAAAAHHH!  Heading to get a one hour foot massage.  After two weeks of crossfit that sounds like heaven.  There may be snoring!

FOURTEEN

Why oh why did I let my friends talk me into the 21 Day Sugar Detox?!?!  This whole process is both offensive and amazing.   Offensive because I can't eat anything I want…. but amazing because I feel great.  HAHAHA  Hopefully I can keep this up… send prayers!

PAAAAAARTAAAAAY! Whew! We have had three birthday parties this week.  It has made things very busy, but also very fun.  So happy we have so many great friends to celebrate :).

Every morning and each night when I switch on Alana's flower nightlight I see Pop.  This picture always makes me smile and I feel like his thumbs up in an encouragement for another good day!

Found these on the coffee table this morning.  Alana must have put them there sometime in the middle of the night.  Just love her note to bring the book to SKOOL :).  This whole book is about Frozen with all of the characters popping out of the pages.  So sweet to find her creations!

This big girl is in the middle of an epic fit because I asked her to clean her room.  How dare I?!  Clearly she is keeping it so neat :/

NINE

Today we had so much fun with our friends!  What are the benefits to going to the park off the highway?  Standing on the wall and pumping your arm up and down at the oncoming trucks.  The kids (and mommies?! haha) were so excited when the trucks honked their horns!! 

EIGHT

Sometimes its the little things.  Like finally changing the lightbulbs in the fridge that have been out for almost a year.  Yes a year!  HAHA

I have never met anyone who challenges me as much as this little man does.   Why is he sleeping in his doorway you ask?  I don't think you really want to know.  Lets be honest I wish I didn't know…. and Burger King will never be the same :/
